It is my pleasure to have taught all of you in 2007. I am sure Mr Thiaga also had a great time with all of you this year. =)

You are a bunch of obedient, smart, appreciative, understanding, caring children.. I am really lucky to have gotten 5 Unity last year.. I had a wonderful and memorable year with all of you..

I will always remember my Ah-bang, Ah-dei, the girls.. All of you..
I will always remember how we CHEERS during our parties..
I will always remember all the trips we went and the fun we had..
I will always remember how we won for Games Day..

Dearest all..

It has been a long time since i last posted.. Maintain several blogs wasn't easy.. Hope you can be patient to wait for the next posts..

I believe all of you know what is coming up for you in the next 2 weeks.. Everyone is busy, maybe some feel stress, maybe some feel relax.. Depends on how you feel, you will put in that amount of effort..

I believe my Unity can do well.. I had seen all of you improved, grown smarter months by months, developed the sense of urgency for exams.. I do hope the fighting spirit in still with you..

NEVER give up alright? It is just 2 more weeks to go!! Show all your best, sacrifice almost all the time you have now to prepare for the PSLE, i am sure if you do your part in giving your best, the results will be rewarding! =)

I know i have not been blogging.. So sorry.. Very busy..
SA1 is here!! tomorrow... stress?? I am sure u are all well prepared! =)

Just a few reminders..

Please do alot of checking.. Checking is not just flipping your pages and looking at ur answers.. Is to re-do please.. Dun let lazy bug beat you.. I still remember our careless king shawn, please pass the message to him tell him to remember ms kong's face during exam so that he can check and dun be careless k.. =)

Please write your name on exam papers.. i have quite a number of Mr and Mrs No-name.. Hey.. please write your name, u might get full marks, but no names attached.. :p

Please be confident, but not overly confident till you think u sure get everything right... It still boils down to checking and checking.. request for a toilet break if you need to be refreshed, if cant, look out for "Green" so that u can be refreshed, den you can concentrate again to do your work..

Please do not give up!! I still remember so many of you start to look around, stare in the blank, waiting for time to come to hand up the paper, please do more work, check!! If it is very difficult, do not say you cant do it!! You do not leave blank, clear??!! =)

Theory 2

How is the holiday? Today is 1st Jan 2008! Tomorrow is going to be the 1st day of school.. Are you excited?

A brand new year, a brand new start.. Everything is going to be fresh to you.. Many many challenges and fun is waiting for u! Of cos, bearing in mind that the PSLE is also waving to u.. hee.. Scary??

Tomorrow u are all going to wake up very early in the morning for the AM session assembly.. Most probably Miss Kong would still be sleeping.. :D

ANyway, those who had given me the journal, i need to apologise.. I will return u on friday can? Those who wants to continue journal, do put on my table as and when before friday.. It will be as usual, i will put the replied journals on my table every friday, please come and collect it k.. When u enter the staff room, pls be quiet.. If u cannot enter, ask any teacher to find the books for u k..

How are you?? Have you been playing alot? Or have you been spending time reading/studying a little? Are you feeling refreshed or bored at home?

For me, I am enjoying my holiday.. It is a very good rest, I can have the time to meet up with friends, have time with family, have time for myself..

Holiday is meant for you to recharge yourself for the coming year.. Are you energized for the 2008 challenge? I hope you are!! Of cos, the most challenging event that is going to happen in YOUR life is the PSLE~~ Anticipate it!! Get urself ready of it..

The purpose of this entry is to tell all of you that Miss Kong is leaving Singapore for a Taiwan trip soon, I am going for a holiday.. I will not be able to frequent the tagboard and write entries here for the next 10days.. Do update me on what is happening in the tagboard, i will read the past messages when i am back..

Dear 5 Unity..

How are all of you? I think even though you are enjoying the holiday, i believe you still misses WDP right?

Anyway, let me just share with you one of the events I had participated this holiday.. It happened on the previous sunday - 2nd Dec..

Have you heard about the Standard Chartered Marathon? It is a yearly event that Standard Chartered Bank will organise for runners all around the world to participate. There are many different categories in the run - Full marathon(42.3km), Half marathon (21.1km), Ladies/men run (10km)..
To support this event, i joined and participated with Mrs Chong and Ms Jovyn Lim for a 10km run.. We had to wake up at 5am in the morning to get ready for a 8am run..

It was worth it, as the morning breeze is very cooling, the city's road is closed for you to run.. Nice scenery to enjoy too..

Even though the running 10km was not an easy job, but all the 3 of us are proud to say that we completed it in less than 1 hour 30 minutes!! Aren't we fast?? ;p

I am quite proud of myself..!! Hey.. when you grow up, will you want to challenge the 10km run? or even the half or full marathon?? Do consider k..

How have all of you been? Have you started on the worksheet given before the holiday? Please remember to do it, the P6 teacher will go through.. You MUST do because it is also a refresher worksheet to make you recall about what you had learnt, cannot forget k..

Still remember the last day of school, some of the girls requested to go for a jog at Tekong park, in the end, we only ran 1 round, and we started playing basketball.. After which, we went to the playground to hang around.. It is quite a casual outing.. Not bad.. We took 3 precious photos there.. hee..

PSLE results 2007

Dear all..

I hope all of you heard the news about the PSLE result this year.. The highest in the National level is 294. Very high indeed!! Looking at the result, do you feel more moltivated to excel??

Our school's result is good as well.. My previous class's pupils did fine.. All of them passed, most of them going Express.. I am happy for them..

Next year, it is your turn for PSLE.. Do work hard k, cannot wait till it is near exam then you start studying.. In fact, you can start now.. Getting yourself prepared early will definately give you good results.. Do you want good results? I am sure all of you want.. If you want good results, you have to put in equivalent amount of effort.. 100% effort will give u a 100% improvement and excellent result..

Do think about it.. You have not much time left.. Time check: about 10months to left to PSLE.. Consider when u want to start, best is as soon as possible k..

My exam..

Dear all..

How are all of you?? I hope you are starting to enjoy the holiday..

I took my exam yesterday.. It was difficult, but i think still can pass..hee.. My expectation for myself is always not as high as my expectation for all of you.. Of cos, i worked hard studying.. :D Monday is my last exam, wish me luck..

I heard many things happened in school when i was not around, all of you were splitted as there was no relief teacher.. :( I heard that some of u went to Mr Tan.. It scares me, but touched me alot.. Thanks for everything u have done for me..

Mr Ng passed 2 worksheets to be completed during the holiday right? Please do it k, i dun wan all of you to forget about what you learnt this year.. The P6 teacher will go through the worksheets.. I want all of you to start thinking about the coming PSLE.. Start working for it k..

Games Day 2 + Last day of school

Dearest 5 Unity,

Let me talk about the Games day 2 first.. I know that pupils from 5Creative do visit this blog, if they are unhappy about what I am going to say later, please exit now.. If not, please accept the fact and be fair to me, be reasonable about the results..

Game by game..
Handball.. You put on a very very strong fight, I have already knew that you are not a match with 5Cre, but looking at the energy level all of you had yesterday, i am very proud that all of you showed your power and drew the match. It is ok that we did not win because the most important thing is that you improved

Captain's ball.. I am really surprised that you all won, truely surprised, not because you all not good, but because other classes seems to be better.. The game with 5cre was a terrible one.. Even though you merely won them, i can say that you are simply luckier than them.. No matter what they said about the scores, the fact is = we won with our hearts clear, not guilty at all, with the true luck and ability.. Good Job..

Frisbee.. Actually i expected more, maybe we are too confident with ourselves, we lost the crucial match with 5app, its ok.. going to semifinal is really good already.. :) At least our David is quite serious about the game, dun you agree? hee..

Tag Rugby.. I am very proud to say!! Our wall is invisible!! hahaha.. I love how the boys dashed into the goal line, i love the way you defence and build the solid wall.. I just love it la.. You all learnt well, improved so much within a day.. Good Job !!

Last day of school..
Surprisingly, I dun feel much sadness, maybe because we are having so much fun.. My only hope for the day is to spend more time with all of you today, tats why i did not go to 5cre.. *guilty* but i truely want to spend lots and lots of the remaining time with you.. Looking at all your laughter, all you "quarrels", making me remember how you all behave, so that i will never forget..

THANK YOU very much for the presents, for the surprise, for everything today.. I hope you enjoyed yourself.. We will definately keep in touch here, we will definately be in contact no matter what happen next year..
Please promise to continue to work hard next year k.. I will always put 5unity in my heart, i will always be available to help you as much as i can k..

Dear all...

Are you all curious about what happened today? I cant believe that i actually teared in front of all of you.. Mrs Ariel did warn me before that i should not cry/tear in front of pupils, but i told her.. " How can you endure the feeling?".....

1. I am truely proud that most of you improved throughout the year, some of you had really done me proud. Your success is also my success.. I am so touched when you thanked me regarding how much you have improved. I love those words, "You made me improve".. I love it..

2. I am really happy and touched that most of you love me to be the form teacher next year.. Saying that i taught well, saying that i must be the teacher, saying that if i am not teaching u, u will change school, etc... i am really really emotionally touched..

3. I really cannot be sure that i am going to be with all of you next year, the main reason i teared is that i really cannot bear to leave all of you.. The chances of you having another teacher is high.. Very high.. Which means, the chances of me leaving is very high too.. Very high.. The thought of leaving, giving all of you to another teacher makes me angry, makes me irritated, makes me upset, makes me disappointed, makes me very very very very very unreasonably unhappy... I feel that my effort for all of you are going to be passed on to another teacher, unfair.. I feel that i don't have the support from anyone to be with all of you next year, just because i am new, i am not very experienced, angry... I know i only have your support.. Even though its not good enough to bring me up to P6, it is truely enough to make me feel super happy.. :D

I cannot imagine how i will behaved on wednesday.... last day of school for the year.. last day with all of you... if i really cry again, please dun cry with me, it will make me cry more.. ;p

Dear 5 Unity..

Let me say a few words to express how i feel.. before everything ends...

After knowing all of you for a year.. I am really fortunate to have taught all of you, a bunch of lovable children, a bunch of adorable ones..

Working hard with all of you from the beginning of the year, playing hard at the same time, i think that i have create some kind of bond with all of you.. A special feeling which i love dearly.. Probably 5 Unity is my first 1 full year class, thats why i put in lots of love, concern, patience, hard work, time and responsibility here...

Reflecting through what i had done, i think i really accomplished a lot of things in 5 Unity.. I believe, getting all of you to be by my side is the best reward i get.. Getting David to be with me, getting Xun Xian to be with me, getting Nasran to be with me, its an accomplishment..
What about results? I am glad to announce that almost all of you improved, coming near to my target, i am really very happy.. I think our results to a certain extend are better than 5Creative.. :) I am pleased to have put in the effort, making all of you to put in effort, to improve, to excel.. Really happy..

Getting assurance from parents is another thing that makes me speechlessly happy.. Knowing that parents agree with my teaching method, parents know that i care, parents know that i do put in lots of effort makes me over the moon.. Knowing parents wanting me to follow up is the greatest assurance from them..

I want to thank a lot of people in 5 Unity.. Joeann, Cheryl, Liu Jin, Eunice, all other girls for decorating the class.. I LOVE the 5 Unity banner, I LOVE the drawings for the class.. I want to thank my dearest Abang Syamil for taking good care of the class, lightening my burden in controlling the class, YOU HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB !! I want to thank everyone for cooperating with Syamil in keeping the class quiet.. I also want to thank Liu Jin, Bvlyn, Juan for being my lovely monitoress and monitor, making the trips down to the general office everyday to hand up the attendance file.. I want to thank Liyang, MH, Shawn, Juan, Syafiq, Ben Lam, Nasran, Qamarina, Farah, Jolene, LiuJin, Eunice, Cheryl, etc etc for working so hard for improvement in studies, I see a big improvement from u.. I want to thank ALL OF YOU !! for giving me so so so many sweet memories that i would never forget..

Departing..

I am not sure if i am 6Unity's teacher next year, even though i would love to.. Its not my decision, its not your decision, what we can do is minimal.. I have done my part to bring a successful 5 Unity to the end of 2007.. In 2008, it is the PSLE year, whoever is the teacher will also do his/her best to make sure all of you are good and ready for the major exam.. I hope ALL of you will cooperate just like this year, to continue to excel, to score, to shine!!
DO NOT be upset if i cannot follow all of you to P6.. Because i want to let all of you know that i will be here in WDP, thinking of all of you, supporting all of you.. Anytime, u can come to my table to complain, to chit chat, to laugh at people, to ask me questions.. I will be HERE for all of you k..

My School Rocks! - UNITY ROCKS !!

9 of our 5 Unity pupils brave through the High School Musical - My School Rocks audition last week, during the school holiday.. I think that their performance was GREAT !! :) *thumbs up*

Nevertheless the cruel fact that out of the 60 teams that were selected to go for audition, only 5 teams could enter the Grand Final.. Chances are really slim..

I chance upon the Grand Final day at Plaza Singapore last saturday, i was there shopping, forgeting that the grand final was on that day.. That was then i realised that all the 5 schools that entered the finals are ALL from SECONDARY schools..

So.. As we are still young, it was really a SUPER DUPER experience already!! Good Job boys and girls.. You have done us proud ! :D

I have taken a video of their performance, but the file is SUPER DUPER big !! Cant upload in blogger, cant upload in youtube.. So, i will try to find ways to upload it somewhere.. Please be patient..

CA2 Results

Dear all..

I have collated the results for CA2...

Just one word - Disappointing..

I understand that for English, there is no Listening Comprehension to pull the results up.. Thus, there are more failure this time.. I also understand that the Mathematics exam paper is super difficult.. So MORE failure this time...

Let me just give a rough number...

English:
1 A, 6B, 18C, 16 fail
Highest = 76
Lowest = 34

Mathematics:
0A, 0B, 11C, 30 fail
Highest = 59
Lowest = 26

Science:
11 A, 24B, 6C, 0 fail
Highest = 87
Lowest = 52

Overall, most of us improve on Science.. The rest of the subjects, we all did not improve.. The whole class only 2 pupils improve all 3 subjects.. 2 boys..

Hopefully we can work harder together next term k..

Sorry for the delay.. I was really caught up with time, so i cannot come online to blog..

Here are some photos i took during the international friendship day when Joeann, Liu Jin and Yee Xuan won the prize for their oil lamp.. :)

Of course, for our National Day celebration, we have to decorate our class!! Most importantly, we have our cutest/nerdest boys making the whole class laugh..

Orangy Racial Harmony Day!

Dear 5 Unity,

Still remember that we celebrate Racial Harmony every year? Last month, we also celebrated it.. It was special because everyone wore ORANGE!! My favourite colour.. hahaha.. It is only now that i learn that orange is a colour which symbolises HARMONY~~ No wonder i am such a harmonious person.. ;p

Anyway, our class did not really responded well for this day.. Only AFEW of you wore orange.. A little disappointing.. Hopefully national day, more people will wear RED~~!!

Lazy?? Sleepy?

Relax children~~ Let me tell you a story...

Ever heard of a kind of bug call the "Lazy bugs"??

Lazy bugs are found in everyone in the world.. They usually keep themselves warm in the human brain.. Sometimes they hibernate and remain still, sometimes they become active and disturb people...

Usually, when "lazy bugs" becomes active, it is how people starts to feel really really lazy.. People will not be able to think properly, only wants to play and have fun.. With the "lazy bugs" being active, people uncontrollably become lazy, sleepy, inactive and wants to sleep, doing nothing productive..

"Lazy bugs" comes out when the human brains say that "yes, you can come out now"... This is the time when people dun wan to do anything anymore!! Its not healthy!!

So!! "Lazy bugs" can be removed, frozen, eliminated~!! YOU are the person who can choose not to activate the bugs~ YOU are the person who can choose not to be lazy~~ YOU are the person who can remove all these harmful bugs that are in your brain~~~

Whenever you are tired.. Ask yourself, "Is it just being lazy or I am really tired??"
If you think that it is the result of Lazy bugs, shoo the bugs away and wake up!! Do work!! Stop being lazy~~

Like I say before.. Nobody is stupid, Nobody is weak or lousy in something, it is just the effect of lazy bugs being there to stop you from working hard..

Be diligent, be hardworking, stop the actions of Lazy Bugs.. OK?? ;p

Shawn's Birthday Party

Last Sunday, Shawn invited some of us to his house for his 11th birthday party.. Since i was free that day, i attended..

It was quite a nice experience to celebrate a pupil's birthday.. Those attended was MingHwee, Li Yang and Nasran.. These boys played computer fighting games, played pull-up bar, mini basketball, most importantly tried Mrs Toh's super nice dinner..

There are many relatives of Shawn's who were there too.. We were all quite shy about it, so we kind of hid inside the room while all the adults sat in the living room watching TV~~

NE Show 2007

Remember NE show that just happened last weekend? I think it was quite fun and memorable. hehe..

We reached school at about 1pm, to gather and get all our barang barang and food.. I can see the excitement in some of your eyes about the exchangeable stripes for the bag..

Here are some photos to prove the excitement..

After packing and unpacking the goodies in our bags, of cos, we have to take quite a long trip to Marina Bay~~ Nice place to have the NDP.. :) Now.. The bus trip was a little chaotic.. Noisy and loud voices could be heard in the bus.. It was especially fun when we were "pasting" our tatoos onto our face~!!

Once we reached there.. It was quite a nice view... The place was nicely decorated for the event.. Looks quite grand.. :) All of you started to sit down and eat, while the teachers relax by ourselves.. Enjoying phototaking sessions!!

After waiting for awhile, the NE show starts.. It started with many many stunts performances by the different area of defence of Singapore.. Air, Land and Sea machineries were performing their acts around us.. Nice~~ Very impressive~~

The NE show ended with wonderful fireworks which caught everybody's attention as well as gotten everyone high in their spirits.. Indeed, it is really the highlight of all NDP shows.. :)

We were the first few schools which left, in the bus, all of you were still very "high".. Haha.. nobody seems tired.. Photos of cos must be taken in the bus again to call off a day.. :D

Have you ever wonder??

Have you every wonder how teachers feel each time they enter the class??

When i was a kid, i would always think that i felt terribly irritated and unhappy whenever i have to attend to this teacher's class.. I hate to be in the class when she is teaching because she simply scold and scold unreasonably.....

But have you ever think about it? How does the teacher feels entering the class? Do you think the teacher dreads going into the class too??

I used to think that classroom is the best place in the school to be with, because i have the time to mingle with all of you, to teach and to interact with you... I used to think that i look forward in going into our class to laugh and teach whatever i plan to..

Now?? Not that i dun look forward in going into our class, but i dun dare to go into our class now.. I am filled with disappointment towards 5 Unity nowadays, sometimes, towards different pupils, at different times...

Have you ever wonder why teachers have the black face in class or scold pupils often?

I dun carry my emotions from home to school.. No matter how bad i feel about my personal things, i would not fire it out at all of you.. The only thing that can make me upset and unhappy, showing the black face is seeing some of your ridiculous attitudes, your insensitivity towards teachers, your inattentiveness, your lost-in-interest faces, your very poor punctuality in handing up work and forms..

I am really not feeling happy about your performance for these 2 weeks after the return of June holiday.. I am really really disappointed about your behaviour and attitude..
You know what is "tears rolling in the eyes"..?? That what i felt when i was talking to my colleagues after our supplementary lesson, grumbling about my thoughts and feelings...

Of course, Miss Kong need to calm down and reflect on myself to see if is it my fault... Meanwhile, just endure with my black face, my unwilling smile...

Hopefully, we will all eventually change for the better...

Back from Pulau Ubin last monday

Hi all.. I have not been updating all the blogs so far.. Did not really switch on my pc.. hee..

Last monday, i went to Pulau Ubin with the Student Councillors for a 2 day 1 night camp.. It was quite fun, but that place is quite dirty because we cannot bathe.. The tap water there is YELLOW in colour.. "o.o

We did alot of activities there.. Shopping for ingredients for lunch, setting up the fire using branches, cooking in the wild, eating instant noodles for ALL the meals, trek around Pulau Ubin, "climb up" the highest peak of Pulau Ubin..

Dear all..

I am going to be away tomorrow because i need to attend a workshop for the whole day.. Its going to be difficult for me to communicate with all of you.

There will be relief teacher(s) coming in and out of our class, that means we would not have a fix teacher to take care of all of you..

There are few things i need you to help me collect.. If you are reading this entry, please help me note down, write down on paper, tomorrow help me collect.. The names in bracket are the people in charge..

Hows all PE lesson so far? Good exposure of friendly matches? I believe we really have ample training, as compared to other classes, u have got to count urself lucky that u get to play PE everyday!! hee..

Now.. The day finally comes.. Nervous? High hopes in yourself? Or still have the thinking of giving up??

Let me now go through the last time what to expect for Games Day k..

Captain's ball - Playing at Parade Square

Speed is important (only 5 minutes per game)
JUMP !! RUN !! You have got to make urself very free so that ur team mates can pass the ball to u!! So u need to be FAST~~
Captain!! U can move, don't stand there like a stone k.. Make urself VISIBLE for ur players to throw to u let u catch..
NO KICKING, NO FIGHTING..

Frisbee - Playing at Parade Square

CATCH properly !!
Defence, don't only depend on ur height!!
JUMP !! RUN !! Don't think you tall very pro k.. Dun underestimate ur oponents k..

HandBall - Playing at Field

Field, difficult to bounce.. Be careful~~
SPEED is important~~ Throw far, catch well~~ SHOOT with ENERGY~~
Let girls shoot if possible~~ 2 pts!!
Team work is important, DON'T quarrel..

Tag Rugby - Playing at Field

Field, might be difficult to run, but if u fall down, not so pain, be careful k..
SPEED is SUPER SUPER important.. U dun have much time to score, if u lose, it is difficult to catch up, SO! We MUST be the FIRST to score and take the lead.. If we are winner, slow down, buy time..

2 Days without U

Dear pupils..

Hows the 2 days in school?? Did you behave urself and listen to our relief teacher??? I believe he is very nice to all of you. :D

I am studying quite hard for these 2 days, hopefully i can get good grades for my subject. By the way, if you all are interested to know, i am studying University Mathematics.. If you think that your P5 Math is difficult, think twice k.. There are MORE difficult things waiting for you..

I am going for my exam soon.. Thursday: 7.30pm.. Quite nervous.. Wish me luck k..

Just a gentle reminder.. We will have supplementary lesson on friday (tomorrow) at 10am in the Health and Fitness room k.. If you get to read this blog entry, spread the words around saying that it is important for the supplementary because i wanna go through the exam papers.

SA1 is over!!

Dear 5 Unity,

How are you?? SA1 is over.. Happy?? Hope you had a good weekend, no need to prepare for exams for the time being..

All in all, after so many tests before the actual SA1 has been quite useful, i know our class's standard and i really see the improvement in our pupils. Good job. Nevertheless, there are still a few pupils who really disappoint me. I would have to really work hard to make them work hard with me..

I hope the results that u are going to take back soon would not make you unhappy too much. Afterall, we have improved!! :D

Let me give you an overview of our class results...

English: 11 failures, highest is Grade A - 79 marks (a girl)

Maths: 19 failures, highest is Grade B - 70 marks (a boy)

Science 3 failures, highest is Grade A - 77 marks (a boy)

Nervous of the results??? Please relax.. You will get them real soon.. I am just glad that most of u improve.. :D For those who did not improve, please work harder k... No matter wat, Miss Kong is here for you to ask questions, to lean on.. You can depend on me. :)

Dear 5 Unity pupils..

I believe you have already enjoyed the holiday, dreading the day of Term 2 to start, want to continue the holiday rite?? But reality is reality, you cant expect holiday to be forever.. SOOOOO.. Tomorrow is out school term starting again.. I assure you tat it is going to be a mad term whereby you have LOTS and LOTS of homework, schoolwork, duties, tests and scoldings!! Be prepared k..

Last minute checking means that there are several items which you need to at least get ready for the 1st week of Term 2... The things are as mentioned below:

Health Booklet (those who have not handed up)
IPW powerpoint slides and posters
Holiday Homework (English worksheet, Math Practice book worksheet and Math Homework book worksheet)
Journal (Writing how is ur holiday and replying to my questions)

I hope you have already completed the above items, if it is so, i hope they are all of quality work!! :)

See you all tomorrow... I believe tomorrow all of you will be having a little small surprises and also a little scolding from me in the beginning of the day.. IPW Group Presentation 2007

Dear all, the information below will be all about IPW.. Take note of the details k..

Preparation

Monday is the only day you are going to COM LAB (2 periods) for your last preparation of the presentation slides
Tuesday is the last day (2 periods) for your group to practice on the presentation "performances" you are going to present.. Practise the way you present, which part to present, who to click the mouse, who to hold the poster, what to talk about the poster, etc etc..
Groups will draw lots as to when is their turn to present on the actual day

Presentation

Wednesday is our presentation day (1st 4 periods)!!
A teacher from another class and Miss Kong will be the judges for the IPW !!

Results

Results will be collated and will be announced at the end of the week
4 prizes will be awarded

Best Presentation Group (powerpoint slides)
Best Poster Group
Most Cooperative Group
Most Knowledgeable Group

Hi all..

1 week holiday has started.. Feeling relax at home?? hmm.. A good break to keep yourself more alert for the coming Term 2..

I believe you have already know how difficult P5 is, i hope you are ready for the term 2, which is even tougher..

If you are free at home, completed my homework and feel tat it is bored at home, do open up ur Science textbook and read about the new chapter.. Or maybe, u can go open up ur math textbook and start revising the Area of Triangle, or can start the fractions topics which are definately challenging..

Do not underestimate yourself children.. I think all of you can do well.. I hope all of us can improve as the time goes by.. By the end of term 2, i hope the SA1 will be a good closure of how we work hard together in passing/getting Bs or As in the results for all subjects..

Let us work together k, rest well during the holiday, complete ur IPW soon, get ready for the new term k.. :)

Dear 5 Unity kids!!

A big welcome back from the P5 camp.. :) Hope you realli had fun there! I had great fun despite the rain.. hehe.. You don't really have the chance to go under the rain so often right.. haha.. Of course, coming back to school, if it is raining, i will pull you back into shelter.. ;p

Coming back to school work, there is no homework during the P5 camp period. Do not worry, but i do hope to get back Journals, writing about how you feel about the camp k.. For those who did not attend camp, do tell me ur feelings about not going too.. I do want to know how you all feel about it..

This last week of term 1, there will be an English Test, either on Tues/Wed, do get yourself prepared k..

New topic in Mathematics would also be introduced, and most importantly, it is the IPW week, as you have already done IPW before in P4, i am sure you know what it is about. Do wait for my instructions on monday k..

Fill up the P5 Camp form and write in the necessary details about you so that the Teachers know how to group you in. Payment is compulsory, attendance to the camp is also compulsory, hope all of us can go together and have fun.

Regarding P5 camp, you will get more information as the dates draw nearer, do not worry about what to bring for the camp yet, you will know in 2 weeks time.. :)

Hello 5 Unity pupils..

I was absent on friday because i have to go for an English Exam which comprises of writing a report, critique, cover letter and resume.. All these are written by mostly adults, so it will sound quite difficult for you.. :)

Anyway, i hope you all behaved yourself well yesterday.. I hope you all did miss me a little.. haha..

How was the relief teacher?? I think she must be a very nice lady to help me collect all the forms and exercise books.. She also noted down who are the ones who did not hand up the forms and math work!! Beware!! I will come back on monday to catch all of you!! *.*
